May 2, 2014 – WASHINGTON — With a splash of color and a beautiful bouquet, the Where Dreams Blossom Forever stamp was re-issued today by the U.S. Postal Service. Customers may purchase the stamp at usps.com/stamps, the Postal Store, at (), and at Post Offices nationwide. Customers also can visit ebay.com/stamps to shop from a wide variety of postage stamps and collectibles. The stamp was dedicated at a stamp show in Acton, MA.

Legendary Hollywood icon and humanitarian Charlton Heston was honored as the 18th inductee into the U.S. Postal Service’s Legends of Hollywood stamp series today. The event took place during a first-day-of-issue stamp dedication ceremony at the The Creative Life Chinese Theatre as part of the TCM Classic Film Festival.   Read more.

Jimi Hendrix forever stamp to be issued Thursday at SXSW

The next stamp in the Music Icons series is set to be “unveiled” at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin TX on Thursday. Although the USPS is keeping the design of the stamp under wraps until the “unveiling”, we were able to get an image of the stamp. Linn’s Stamp News first revealed the design last week, showing the “psychedelic” arrangement of the stamps on the four by four stamp sheets.   Read more.

U.S. Postal Service 2014 Year of the Horse Stamp

December 2013 – Around the world, a new year is welcomed with noise! Chinese drums, with drumsticks painted red for luck, highlight the U.S. Postal Service’s 2014 Year of the Horse stamp, seventh in the Celebrating Lunar New Year series. The Year of the Horse begins on January 31, 2014, and ends on February 18, 2015.

The Year of the Horse stamp is being issued as a Forever® stamp in self-adhesive sheets of 12. Forever stamps are always equal in value to the current First-Class Mail® one-ounce rate.
